EVENTS FOR CUB SCOUTS
OFFERED BY BOY SCOUT TROOP 601

2009-2010 Scout Season
Boys have so much to gain from scouting. A well run scout program helps prepare boys for adult life. Through scouting, boys learn how to cook for themselves, stay comfortable in all weather, learn skills for future trades and communicate with adults on an even level - to name a few. Take it from this writer, I've hired scouts to work in my business and my clients are amazed how well they can teach skills to adults and converse on a mature level.

But many cub scouts leave scouting when their time as Webelos passes. To this end, Boy Scout Troop 601 has expanded their joint Cub-Boy Scout activities to let Cub Scouts experience "Boy Scout" activities and to help Cubs with their decision to hopefully bridge over to a Boy Scout Troop. Below is some activities we offer, where we would like to invite Cub Scouts to participate with us. Please contact us if you have Cub Scouts that wish to take advantage of these opportunities, by:

  • Email: troop601@clearcutcomputing.com
  • Phone: to Paul Montenero (516) 845-4081
  • Website: www.troop601ny.org

Troop 601 is also available to help Webelos den leaders prepare and run the more challenging topics that you must cover with your scouts.
